ANNOUNCEMENT

The "DICOM Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State Demonstrator" (DICOMscope)
application which has been presented at the ECR '99 in Vienna is
now publicly available and can be downloaded via internet. The full source
code (Java and C/C++) can be found at the following download sites:

In order to run the application you need to install JDK 1.2 first (e.g.
download "jre12-win32.exe" from one of the above mentioned sites).
The binary program itself is stored in file "dscp101.zip" (including an
installation program). If you have problems with internet connectivity you
can alternatively download the binaries as three separate files
("dscp101a.zip", "dscp101b.zip" and "dscp101c.zip").
